The Old Testament is before Jesus was born - it's about God, the Nation of Israel, and His rescue plan for the whole world. 

The New Testament is after Jesus was born - it's about Jesus fulfilling the promises God made in the Old Testament.

It means that God loves us, takes care of us, and calls us His children. When we believe in Jesus, we become part of His family.

Just like a family loves, cares for, and helps each other, the church is a place where people who believe in Jesus support and encourage one another in their faith.

How are people different from everything else God created?

Humans are special because we have both a body and a soul, and we are made in God’s image. This means we can think, show, and act like God in a special way.

God told them what to write. The Bible says exactly what God wanted it to say.

The Church is the family of God made up of people who believe in Jesus. It is led by Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit.

We know that He made us like Him. Everything about us is perfectly made by God so that we can be like Him.

What are the two kinds of Church?

The "Universal Church" is made up of all people who believe in Jesus, from all places and times. The local church is a group of believers who meet together in a specific place, like our church here!

What is the job of humans?

To show God’s glory to everything He created. We are meant to reflect who God is in everything we do.

We all have ways that we can do the work of God - even kids. Even simple tasks, like cleaning or helping someone, can show God’s glory. When we do our best and work with love, other people can see what God is like through us.
