A group of middle schoolers collaborate weekly to design and construct a community mural for the school hallway. Each week they work together on different sections of the mural while contributing their ideas and skills. What leadership role would best serve this group?

Bonus: What developmental group would this be?

Facilitative leadership because the students are working on a task that requires resources and supplies. Their maturity and cognition is at a medium level, therefore they may require guidance from the OT leader to attain group cohesiveness.

This would be a project group because students are given a task that offers them independent roles while working in a group to complete a project.
