The purpose of this organization is to recognize high school scholastic achievement in the study of German and to promote interest in the study of German language, literature and civilization.
What is German Club/German National Honors Society?
These two teams compete through dance and cheer, representing our school in performances during assemblies, sports games, and competitions.
What are Poms and Cheer?
This club allows students to explore life and cultures outside of the US.
What is International Club?
These musical performances consist of singing, with various groups depending on skill level and voice classification.
What is Choir?
From roses to coal to candy, various clubs fundraise through sales that can be sent to friends during the holidays.
What are Holiday Grams?
The purpose of this society is to recognize high achievement of high school students in the French language and to promote a continuing interest in French studies.
What is French Club/French Honors Society?
Students play Cross Country, Football, Boys' Golf, Boys' Tennis, Gymnastics, Boys' Soccer, Softball, and Girls' Volleyball.
What are Falls Sports?
Students come together to make decisions on behalf of the student body. They organize Homecoming, Prom, assemblies, etc.
What is Student Council?
These perormances consist of music involving drums and other instruments such as gongs, bells, cymbals, rattles, and tambourines
What is Percussion?
A way to celebrate the HOCO season by dressing up in themed outfits.
What are Spirit Weeks?
This is a club that allows studens to explore the world of writing. At the end of the year, all work is compiled to create a book, filled with student texts.
What is Creative Writing Club?
Students play Baseball, Girls' Tennis, Girls' Golf, Girls' Soccer, and Track & Field.
What are Spring Sports?
A team game testing high school students' knowledge of international affairs. In the game, four-person teams compete by answering questions divided into ten unique and engaging thematic categories. The winner is the team with the most correct answers.
What is World Quest?
This performance is made up of a large instrumental ensemble typical of classical music.
What is Orchestra?
A four-year long competition against the four classes.
What is the Gator Goblet?
This club provides recognition and support for students participating in speech and debate activities. It aims to connect, support, and inspire a diverse community committed to empowering students
What is Speech and Debate?
Students play Boys' & Girls' Basketball, Ice Hockey, Girls' Swim & Dive, Boys' & Girls' Wrestling.
What are Winter Sports?
This program seeks to connect and acknowledge outstanding visual arts students, and provides leadership growth opportunities, college and career preparation, and recognition of the SLHS art program.
What is National Art Honors Society?
These performances occur in the Fall and the Spring, allowing students to pursue their love of song and acting.
What are Musicals & Plays?
Sponsered by Stucco and various clubs, this Halloween event allows students to connect with the community through candy and games.
What is Trick-or-Treat Street?
These two publications document student life within our school. One primarily focuses on the year as a whole, and the other tackles student perspectives on various social topics.
What are Yearbook and Newspaper?
This annual event aims to support Standley's Activities and Athletics through a community-focused 5k run/walk. All proceeds benefit our Booster's club, teams, activities, and students at SLHS.

This organization seeks to elevate the school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character through volunteer work within the school and community.
