How does our class exit the building during a fire drill?
We line up silently and follow a teacher out of the classroom, to the right and down the back set of stairs. We go out towards the kindergarten playground, down the steps and go onto the blacktop.

What should students do with their planner and any homework pages after they are out of their backpack?
Put them on their desk, turned around so the teacher can see them.
What should you do with your water bottle?
Put them in the basket on the side shelf or in the back of the room.
Name two things about our tissue procedure.
We don't need to ask to get a tissue - we can help ourselves.
Try to get a tissue during quiet work time.
Used tissues go in the garbage.
Wash hands or use hand sanitizer after using a tissue.
How does our class exit the building during an evacuation drill?
We line up silently and follow a teacher out of the classroom to the left. We go down the front stairs and out through the front doors. When we get to the sidewalk we turn right and walk down the hill as far as we can.
