How are we ensuring proper infection control in the offices?
High traffic items, computers, mice, keyboards, doorknobs, etc will be wiped down daily. Face coverings should be worn, proper hand hygiene and cough etiquette should be practiced. If waiting room is in use, chairs should be wiped down and sanitized after each use, and not only beginning and end of the day.

No, not everyone with COVID-19 has symptoms. The virus can be in someone's body for up to 14 days before they get symptoms and some will have such mild symptoms that they might not notice anything is wrong.
Can anyone get tested?
We are currently only testing priority 1 and 2 patients.
Are patients allowed to have visitors accompany them to their appointments?
Patients are only allowed visitors if they are minors, or require assistance. Visitors should be screened for COVID as well.
How do I decontaminate my face shield?
A face shield is decontaminated by wiping it down with a disinfectant wipe and allowed to dry.
Who is included in COVID-19 most vulnerable and high risk groups?
People age 60 and above and people with certain underlying health conditions?
Does a patient have to come in for a visit for a test to be ordered?
What do we do when a patient has a positive screening?
The patient is asked to wait in their car. The MA and provider is made aware and patient is directly taken to designated positive screening room with HEPA filter.
When must a face mask be worn?
A face covering should be worn at all times, unless an employee is working alone in an enclosed workspace or if there is a practical reason one cannot be worn.

Diagnostic and antibody. Diagnostic test can show if an active coronavirus infection is present. An antibody test looks for antibodies that are made by the immune system is response to a threat, such as a specific virus.
