I should make sure my name is on my paper, then put it in the turn in basket.

No, I need to pay attention so I learn and help others learn.
How should we sit for partner reading?
Elbow to elbow and knee to knee so we can share a book and both see!
Do I need to clean the floor under and arround my desk or just under my desk?
Under AND around!
What do we do if we need to use the bathroom?
We use the hand signal, then put the pass on our desk. We should be gone no more than 2 or 3 minutes and re-enter quietly.
Can I sit next to a friend for morning meeting?
Yes, If I stay quiet and listen to the speakers.
What can I do if my seat mate is distracting me?
I can move to the rainbow table or the window seat.
Is it okay to visit with another group during a partner activity?
No! We need to stay focused on our own partner so they feel important and included.

What do we get owl eyes for?
We get them for being engaged, accountable, safe, and for being good problem solvers.
Why do I have to do the partner activity?
Because if I don’t, the other person won’t get to do it either and will feel left out.
Why shouldn’t I tip my chair?
I could fall and hit my head!
Is it okay to chat and have fun with my partner during partner activities?
Yes, as long as we are using level 1 voices and getting our work done.
What should I do when my table group is told to line up?
I should put up my chair up and line up quietly in abc order.
