What time does school start?
School officially starts at 8:45am, but you can come into the classroom starting at 8:30am
What do you do with your body when someone else is speaking?
Turn your entire body towards them with great eye contact!
How do you SIT at your desk?
All chair legs stay on the ground, move chair towards speaker, staying focused
Where do you usually turn assignments in?
In the Turn in Bin!
What do you do when you come into our classroom in the morning?
Greet Mrs. Thompson, follow the directions on the board (TV), get started on morning work right away!
How do we TURN AND TALK in class?
Turn and face them, legs crossed, TAKE TURNS speaking with eye contact
How do you work with your partner at your desk?
What do we do with our hands and voices when someone is called on to answer something in class?
We cheer them on and listen carefully
How do we get ready to go home at the end of the day?
Finish up cursive/your job, calmly grab your things from your cubby and be in your seat before the timer is up!
How should you be sitting at your carpet spot?
Legs crossed, back straight, eyes on the speaker, voice at level 0
