CAS Requirements
Every CAS student is required to declare and complete one of these as part of their graduation requirements.
What is a major?
This is where you book an appointment with your Undeclared academic advisor.
Where is MyBU Student?
If you step on the Marsh Plaza seal while a BU undergraduate, legend says you will not accomplish this goal.
What is graduating in four years?
Your undeclared advisor will be assigned to you until you meet this milestone.
What is declaring your major?
This is who you can talk with as many times as you wish to discuss your interests and goals and figure out a major.
Who is your advisor?
This requirement includes a laboratory component.
What is the CAS Natural Science w/ Lab requirement?
Something a comprehensive Undeclared advising appointment can include (multiple answers accepted).
What is major/minor exploration, long-term planning, course registration, identifying your interests, skills, and goals, and/or connecting with campus resources?
BU's mascot is named this, because no one loves Scarlett (one of BU's school colors) more than this "Gone With the Wind" character.
What is Rhett?
Undeclared students have until this point in their college careers to declare a major (although they can still change it later).
What is the end of sophomore year?
If a student asked their advisor if being undeclared will put them "behind" in their graduation progress, this would be their response.

This person will be assigned to you as an additional support for your first-year at BU.
Who is your Assistant Director of First-Year OR Transfer Success?
This BU sports team has won the annual men's Beanpot championship trophy more times than the three other teams in the tournament: Northeastern, Harvard, and (bleck!) BC.

True or False - An undeclared student can be pre-med or pre-law without yet knowing their major

CAS requires students to fulfill this requirement in one of several ways - through advanced credit, courses, or by demonstrating proficiency.
