Fundamental requirements for human survival and wellbeing including food, water, and shelter.
What are basic needs?
The process of helping a client achieve personally set financial goals, exploring topics like budgeting, saving money, understanding credit, and debt repayment.
What is financial coaching?
The process of developing the client’s capabilities to succeed in the workforce based on the career goals of the client, assisting in things like career exploration, resume review, mock interviewing, etc.
What is employment/career coaching?
United Way funded partner whose main goal is helping individuals earn a college degree, removing barriers and providing wraparound services.
Who is Capital IDEA?
Mandatory meeting where we bring together all of the THRIVE partners to connect, share resources, and network.
What is the THRIVE Partner Meeting?
A federal government program that provides food-purchasing assistance for low- and no-income people to help them maintain nutrition and health.
What is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP?
United Way funded partner that primarily serves women and has a 6-class financial literacy series.
Who is The Women’s Resource?
A faith-based United Way funded partner offering training programs like HVAC, Carpentry, Electrical, Welding, and more.
Who is Workfaith?
United Way funded partner that has a youth summer camp, senior health services, a Financial Opportunity Center, and many more community resources including an AAPI culture and community focus.

The main focus of THRIVE and THRIVE services helping individuals achieve a balance between their income and expenses. (Hint: used interchangeably with THRIVE to describe the work we do.)
