2850 years! We had to add 1000 B.C. to 1850 A.D. because they were on opposite sides of the timeline or a B.C. date and an A.D. date. This gave us 2850 years.

305 B.C.- Ptolemy 1 becomes Pharaoh of Egypt Because 520 B.C. is bigger than 305 B.C. and is an older date, while 100 B.C. is smaller than 305 B.C. which is a more recent date. Therefore, 305 B.C. belongs between the two when creating a timeline in chronological order!
