Atticus told her to stop playing with a comb, which was something the “normal” Atticus would never say.
Why did Atticus remain calm when finding Dill in his house?
Because he understood the perspective that Dill felt, and as from the earlier chapters, was able to listen to the story of the child, rather than just think/predict what happened.
Why does the group depart and leave Atticus alone?
Because Scout made Mr.Cunningham feel ashamed for his actions.
Why are “mixed children” sad, according to Jem?
They don’t belong anywhere; White and Colored people don’t accept them because of their black and white heritage.
