The teacher is at the front of the room showing you how to do a hard math problem. the Teacher talks while facing the Smartboard. You hear some of the instructions, but none of what they said while facing away could be understood. What can you do to make this work so you can learn this information too?

1. Remind the teacher, "I'm not able to hear you when you talk facing the board. Can you repeat that last part, Please?"

2.  Check my hearing aids and microphone. Ask the teacher if the microphone is turned on. 

3. Ask the teacher to repeat the instructions and remind them to either talk or write on the smart board so you get to see what they are saying.

You will be working in cooperative groups with 2 or three of your classmates.  Everyone is very loud while they are in their groups, so it's hard to pay attention to your own group. What can you do to make this easier to talk and hear the members in your group?

I can use my microphone in the  middle of our table to hear everyone.
