How does a customer use retail to update their counts when taking inventory? For example: liquor store gets new shipment of Stella Artois in and want to update the number of 6 packs in stock from 20 to 40.
Using their mobile phone, customers open the retail module and hit "count" on the home page. From there, using their camera they can take a picture of the barcode which will bring up the specific item they want to count. From there, they can update the quantity in stock and hit "save".

A barcode scanner! Please only sell the Zebra scanners offered through Toast. Customers MUST purchase barcode scanners through Toast. They cannot re-use barcode scanners from their previous POS nor purchase the same Toast models via 3rd Parties. Add the barcode scanner/stand for every terminal the business intends to use for retail checkout.

How can you identify a CBG store on yelp/google?
Look at how the business is tagged online - anything on Google or Yelp "grocery/convenience/beer, wine & spirits" qualifies. General rule of thumb: if the eye test tells you that over 50% of product offering is retail, this is a good fit!

Toast POS is now compatible with Zebra MP7000 in-counter scanner & scales. Toast does not directly sell this hardware. Operators can work with 3rd party providers to purchase, install, and service MP7000s. In the near future we will have a preferred vendor that can be recommended to customers/prospects. This will include a custom purchasing link for Toast customers to purchase the hardware from the vendor. The link will offer a custom price only available to Toast customers.

FALSE. Toast does NOT sell deli scales. While Toast does not sell deli scales, Toast can scan the barcode labels produced by all major deli scales. This means that existing businesses can continue to utilize their existing deli scales or would need to purchase deli scales from a 3rd party.

How do you login to the Retail demo environment in Toast Web?
Login to the Toast Web account for your district demo environment (Inside-Coco). Go to the top of the page and switch from the FSR district demo to the QSR district demo. The retail module will live on the left hand side of the page in the toolbar.

T/F: Toast does not sell barcode label printers.
True. Toast does not sell barcode label printers. The Epson L90 Sticky Label printers that Toast does sell are intended for to-go item labeling and cannot be used to print barcode labels. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide their own barcode label printers. The Toast Retail module will enable printing and format labels to send to your label printer from your computer.
