1.Run a test cycle on bagel mode without any bread or bagel set to darkest toast mode.

2.The bagel function will only activate the inner elements. If the inner elements activate, the unit is working.

Uneven Toasting

Can be normal. The degree of unevenness matters.

•Due to the wide variety of bread types, freshness levels, sugar content and slicing evenness some bread may not toast as evenly or similarly to other bread / toasters. As bread ages it will become more dry and burn more easily, vice versa with fresh bread. Results may vary especially with artisan bread in comparison to store bought loafs.

•Ask the customer:

•About the type of bread

• Freshness of the bread

•And how thick/thin the slice is

The goal is to dry out and make crispy
