Dust Pan
This tool is used to water plants in the garden. You must clean it after each use. There are three watering locations. Never throw or drop this tool.
Watering Can
This tool is used to collect weeds. Empty the weeds at the Mountain. Always clean the inside and outside after each use. Always place on the far right table of the Washing Station.
Weed Bucket
This tool is used to harvest vegetables and fruit. Make sure to lock in when not in use. Return it to the classroom sink during the day and the kitchen sink at the end of the day. Wash before and after use.
Clippers
This tool is used to uproot small weeds whose roots are near the top of the soil. It is also used to make mounds. Use short, firm strokes toward yourself. Always check your safety zone. Never leave it lying face up on the ground.
Hoe
This tool is used to make a hole in the ground to plant seeds and sprouts. Not used to dig a hole.
Pogo Stick
This tool is shallow and short. It is used to store and prepare produce for sale and distribution. Place it in the chill and cover with a moistened brown parchment paper.
This tool is used to measure things. This is not a toy. Carefully retract when you are finished by slowly reinserting the tape. Do not allow the tape to whip around when retracting.
Measuring Tape
This tool is used to move dirt or scoop dirt or debris. Used to dig a hole. Not used to pack dirt.
Shovel
This tool is used to weed and harvest. Use the sharp rounded outer edge to cut weeds in a jabbing motion. Use the sharp rounded inner edge to cut weeds.
Sickle
This tool is used to harvest thick flowery plants. Hold it closed with two hands and the point down because there is no lock position.

This tool is used to gather gravel or dirt. Never use it on the grass. Never leave it face up on the ground.
Iron Rake
This tool is used to pick up things on the ground like rocks; used for forming or packing dirt. It is not used to dig a hole.
Flathead Shovel
This tool is used to clean sidewalks on muddy days; used to clean the fish pond. Wash after each use.
Scrubber
This tool is used to pick up hay, grass, straw, or leaves. Use the appropriate posture and carefully move hay to the new location. Never stab at the ground or use to dig a hole.
Pitch Fork
This tool is used to push rubbish forward and to gather rubbish into piles. Not to be used on the dirt or grass.

This tool is used to gently lift your potatoes or other root vegetables from the soil. Never stab at the ground or use to dig a hole.

This tool is used in a sawing motion to cut down flowery plants. This is not a hacking tool. It is a pulling tool.
Serrated Sickle
This tool is used to chisel rocks and cut things like stumps. It can be used to plant trees and break up big roots and boulders. Never hold directly over your head! You'll stab yourself.
