WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS BODY PARAGRAPH?

Mr. Foster is a bad teacher because he is rude to his students. In a student’s diary entry, it was mentioned that “Mr. Foster yells at his students every single day”. This is rude because in proper society people are expected to only yell, when necessary, like during times of great anger or stress. Anything else is a purposeful choice.  If Foster chose to yell like this, it just shows he is being unnecessarily aggressive. Nobody wants to have their eardrums burst or be emotionally damaged. From this, we can learn that organizations should put more emphasis on hiring people that better display proper values.

The Commentary only talk about how he is rude, but not at all about how this makes him a bad teacher.

As I watched my husband’s car back out of the driveway, I sighed, breath fogging up the window. As I gazed out across the vast expanse of land, I once again wished we had neighbors nearby. I once again wished I had somebody to talk to, something to do. Instead of being in the bustling city of New York, working on things I was passionate about, I was her. Tending to an aging farmhouse, alone. Before I went to my room to cry, my eyes lingered on the birdcage in the corner. The copper bars twisted in an elegant way, that completely encircled the beautiful bird within.

What does the birdcage symbolize?

The desire to be free. The painful reality of being trapped.
