We started using Solver in August 2024. Our sales report was working till December 2024, however it would no longer run for multiple months. 

When I run the report, I don't see any detailed error messages in the portal. Where should I go to try and find more details?

Hi, a routinely run integration now shows no tasks. How do I recover what was there before??

Customer can request a database restore to restore the previous tasks. (They did not tell me that they deleted them on accident).

This report is opened from the desktop or Excel recovery auto opens the report after Excel crashes.

The "expanding" and "display blank records" checkboxes are greyed out so I cannot select them.

How do I get the column to display even if there are no values to show?

Re-drag a dimension and create a new group on the column.

(Creating new group manually by highlighting the row/column causes the checkboxes to be greyed out)

When entering budget data in a budget entry template, I am unable to save a budget note if I enter zero as the amount. 

I have been entering $.01 as around. 

Is there a way that the system can save a budget note for a $0 entry? Thanks.

Uncheck the 'Delete transactions if cell value is 0'.

Between Friday and this morning the consolidation report "changed" which rate it uses for the balance sheet currency conversion for Canada.

On Friday it was correct using the spot rate..Today it is using the average rate.

I also noticed that the integration failed over the weekend.

What can I do to resolve this?

Struggling to enter 2 new users as the Solver program does not allow me to press the "+ sign " button to add the new user names. This + sign is greyed out. What do I need to do?

To add a new user, you will first need to enter the email of the user that you want to add in the text box. After adding the email, the + button will turn blue and become available to press to send out the invitation.

I was able to add the registry entries and made the changes in the Excel Trust Center. All users run BI360 from one server.

However, we are still receiving errors when trying to update the licenses and launching Excel.

In the input template where we use the line item detail, is there a way to customize the header that shows on the line item detail section? 

For example, is there a way to customize the line item detail header so it only shows either “202601” or “January” and not both? 

Yes, the LIDS column headers are driven by the Grouping/Sorting tab.

What expression can I use to create a unique Transaction ID within the Expression builder?

You can use this expression Increment()/2 in order to give each transaction a number starting from 1, 2, 3...

I am having issues with the new custom drilldown. After making changes, I am unable to see the new fields show up when I drilldown into one of the measures. 

What did I forget to do? What could also be the cause of me not seeing the field besides the first answer?

What is click the Save button? (Could also mean that there is no data for that particular field).

I want to add budget notes to our input template. However, when I add Budget Notes to the expense line, it saves correctly but I don't see it populate when I run the report.

How can I get the the Budget Notes to display when I run the report? (What might be causing this issue?)

Bud Notes were being saved in the first period for each year (ie 202501) and the report's period filter was not capturing this (was set to another period). To resolve, we added a period filter on the column that the Bud Notes were displayed ("This year all").

When using Quickstart for BC, I got an approval request window (attachment). The customer tried to fix it with his BC provider, but until now, without success.

An Admin with Azure / EntraID must approve the BI360.com URL using one of these methods:

  • Approving the request from the user via the form shown above

I got access to a new tenant this morning and the name is missing in the upper right corner below my name.  Last week, I had the same issue with another tenant, I created a support ticket for it. Why can't I see the tenant name show up?

User has been added as a customer admin but has not been added to the tenant yet.

I deleted a report in our tenant entitled 'Budget Stats v5' but users are still seeing an assignment for it. I was unable to find out who created the assignments in the first place and we don't need users having access to the report at this point in time.

Where should I check? (Hint: It's in the portal)

When an Intacct Integration fails with this message, what is one of the possible causes?

"The exception message when doing readByQuery: One or more errors occurred"

Intacct has deprecated endpoints but they are still available for selection and are being used in the integration

The Intacct API is experiencing a concurrency issue with other requests being made and interrupting the pagination system utilized by Intacct.

The user does not have adequate permissions to each of the dimensions included in the integration.

One of our users is unable to reset their password. Clicking on the reset password button does not send an email to them. We have checked our spam/incoming email security and do not see the email being sent. Please advise.
