ou are at a UCCF meeting when someone makes fun of a member for sharing their struggles during a prayer session. Everyone laughs, but you notice that the member becomes quiet and embarrassed. What would you do, and how would the Bible guide your response?

In Romans 9, Paul discusses God's sovereignty and uses the image of a potter and clay. What does this image teach, and why is this passage challenging to interpret?

The image highlights God's authority as Creator over His creation. The passage is challenging because Christians interpret the relationship between God's sovereignty, human responsibility and election in different ways.

You have an important examination coming up, and you have been praying and studying hard. However, you fail the examination while a friend who cheated receives a high grade. You begin to question whether doing the right thing is worth it. What would you do, and how could you use your faith to guide your response?

Suggested answer: I would acknowledge my disappointment but refuse to compromise my integrity by cheating. I would review my mistakes, seek help and prepare better for the next examination. Proverbs 10:9 teaches that whoever walks in integrity walks securely. Faith does not guarantee that life will always seem fair, but it encourages perseverance and honesty.
