What do I need to do if I need to leave my sleeping space at night?

One at a time in the bathroom, wait away from the door for your turn. Respect each other's privacy. Leave no trace.

 NO.  If it is out during camp it will be taken.

How do I behave IN the water?

No horseplay or jumping on other students.  Boundaries are especially important in the water.  Stay within the boundaries that are set for you.

What is the purpose of opening camp?

To build crew and work on relationships.  Follow up question:  How does this help you with expectations at camp?  (i.e., work together, be kind, try to get to know each other, etc.)

Do I bring my whole house?  What do I pack?

Only what is on the packing list and as small as you can get it.  (i.e., no queen size mattresses!)

What are the norms for camp boundaries?

Stay within camp boundaries, no crossing over into opposite genders camp. EVER. I will be sent home if I break this norm.

When am I allowed to go into the water?

During my scheduled time with my crew, when an adult is present and I am wearing a life jacket.  I will be sent home if I break this norm.

How do I honor my peers and their set boundaries?

 I will stay in my own space and listen if I am asked to stop. I will not touch my peers, especially not without permission.  I could be sent home if I break this norm.

How do I treat others (peers and adults)?

I will listen to adults when asked to do something and speak kindly.  I will speak kindly to my peers and support each other.  If I break this norm I could be sent home.
