The Joestar legacy carries the curse down the bloodline. Apart from Joseph (with Lisa Lisa) and Jotaro (with Holly), all the part protagonists have a Jojo as a parent. Parts 4,5, and 6, even have their Jojo parent be the main character of a previous part.

The sheer amount of options in character creation can be exhausting. Luckily, most classes don't have to select a subclass until later levels. Subclasses such as the Armorer, Wildshaper, Sorcerer, and Assassin help differentiate the different base classes from each other.
Um, actually: Sorcerer is a base class (though it shouldn't be).
Located in what would be the U.S.A lies Malifaux, a large stretch of land that seems to bend reality itself. Travelling to this new world could bring you into contact with Nephilim, the monsters; gremlins, little green men and women addicted to chaos; and the giants, large creatures from the snowy peaks.
Um, Actually: Malifaux doesn't exist in the real world of its story, you need a portal to travel to this other dimension.
Smurfing is a nuisance in any online competitive game. Riot Games has tried fighting this by requiring players to own 10 champions before they can play with other players in draft. As long as a player is willing to spend the money needed to purchase all 10 champs right away, there's nothing stopping an experienced player from stomping new players until the ELO system catches up with him.

What is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's League?
The Stardust Crusaders are a sordid bunch, with 2 teenagers, 2 senior citizens, a dog, and a Frenchman! During the final assault on DIO's mansion, their goals are alinged and pretty similar. Avdol and Polnareff are there primarily to destroy the evil vampire, while Jotaro, Kakyoin, and Joseph are there to save Holly's life.
Um, actually, Avdol is not a senior citizen. He's in his late 20's.
If you don't like how things are shaking out, you can always leave. When a character attempts to leave the melee range of another character, they get to make an opportunity attack by spending their reaction, unless you took the dodge action. The spurned foe then makes a regular attack, dealing damage as usual.
Um, actually: the dodge action only gives the attacker disadvantage. The disengage action makes you immune to opportunity attacks.
Hiring models that do not share a keyword with you leader is expensive. Unless the model is versatile, you have to pay an additional Soulstone for that model. Luckily, all factions come with several such models. Every faction has access to an Effigy with a helpful aura, an Emissary with the same aura, and a rider that collects Fate Tokens to grow in power.
Um, actually: Bayou, Explorer's Society, Ten Thunders, and Outcasts do not have a rider.
Picking a champion to play in a draft game of League of Legends can be tough! After declaring Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, or Support; you have to declare your preferred champion, hope nobody on either team bans it, and then pray nobody picks it before it's your turn.

Tasha's Cauldron of Everything introduces rules for modifying racial features, like so many before had house-ruled. No longer does your half-orc need to be a big dumb-dumb. No longer does your wood-elf of dark-elf fit into their respective stereotypes. Every race can fill any role in exactly the same way another one can!

Different Runes for different dudes! The many options such as the dematerializer (kills minions and can give you a dmg-bonus to the three different types if spread out) or the Ghost Poro (leaves an untargetable poro behind in a bush that is scared away when an enemy champ enters) will alter your playstyle and can be combined in many ways. Keystones such as Guardian (shields you and a nearby ally when either takes damage) and Predator (gives your boots an ability that speeds you up) are unique.
Um, actually: There are 4 types of minions. melee, caster, cannon, and super.

The musical taste of Araki is made apparent through the series. There are multiple references to queen, AC/AC, Jimi Hendrix, and many others. Lesser known bands such as Oingo Boingo make an appearence while the Beatles are left out.
Um, Actually: the Beatles are referenced 4 times. Joseph listens to "Get Back" on a Walkman; Rubber Soul is named after "Robber Soul"; White Album Gently Weeps is a reference to an album and song.
In the first edition of D&D, players could play as either a Fighting-man, Magic-user, Cleric, or Thief. Players could choose from a wide array of weapons, like the quick dagger or hard-hitting greataxe, but some weapons were restricted by class.
Um, actually: All weapons in 1st edition D&D dealt the same amount of damage, a D6.
A model with pounce will gain Fast when a model is moved or pushed (but not placed) into the engagement range of the Pouncer. If this model already had Slow, Slow is removed instead. Fast gives the model 3 actions during their activation, meaning it does not alter the number of Actions for Leaders and Masters.

My enemy has an Ophelia 0.5" behind a wall engaged with my Ototo 20" away from my Katanaka Sniper. Defense Stat 5.
I spend all my Focus to attack without a negative flip. I flip a 7 of Masks, my opponent flips a 7 of Rams. I declare Reposition. I hit her and flip damage with a negative flip, getting a 10 of Tomes and the Black Joker, dealing no damage and getting no movement from my Reposition.
Um, actually: the attack wouldn't hit. The sniper's attack stat is 5 and Ophelias Defense becomes 6 due to her ability.
The mysterious mists on the Shadow Isles can do strange things to a man. Hecarim and Kallista were transformed after death to their current form. Yorik gained the ability to talk to the recently deceased, and Maokai used to be a peaceful treant before the mist twisted his vengeful feelings.
