Attack Backing is a program to reduce and eliminate backing whenever possible. Attack Backing recommends using pull-through parking when available. If pull-through parking isn't an option, the next best option is to drive forward into the parking spot to minimize the amount you drive backwards.
If pull-through parking isn't available, you should back into the space if possible.
The five keys of Smith Driving are aim high in steering, get the big picture, attack backing, leave yourself an out and make sure they see you.
