There are multiple ways to abort a Genocide Route throughout a run, with this boss among many aborting the route if spared. However, they can be successfully spared and still continue a Genocide after the fact.

Flowey's first phase in his Neutral Route boss features attacks from bosses Clover has killed on their run. This is the maximum amount of bosses that can appear in this phase.
