What is a coping skill?
A coping skill is doing something that helps you feel better when you are feeling sad, mad, angry, overwhelmed, stressed or any other heightened emotion.
At school today, you were super hungry and you found some pretzels near someones backpack and decided to eat them.
It is snack time and your classmate tells the teacher that she can't find her pretzels.
How could you take responsibility for your actions?
