Science can't make decisions for you. Science can only give you information to help you make a decision.

1) What is a sample size in an experiment? (100 point)

2) What is a trial in an experiment? (100 points)

3) In order to get the most valid data possible, what type of sample size and how many trials would a scientist want to conduct? (300 points)

A sample size is the number of participants or individuals taking part in your experiment.

A trial is a single test being conducted in an experiment. (Ex: 100 free throws...1 free throw is 1 trial).

You would want to have large sample sizes and conduct many trials...definitely more than 1.
