What is ethos?
The persons reached by a book, radio, or television broadcast.
What is Audience?
connects a subject of the verb to additional information about the subject

What is an informational purpose?
The opposite viewpoint of the author’s claim.
What is the counterclaim?
Appeals to logic and reasoning
What is logos?
The emotions, feelings, and ideas a word brings to mind

The author will want you to believe or support their position

What is Pathos?
A quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author, especially in a scholarly work.
What is Citation?
In order to be grammatically correct, the verb must agree with the subject (noun) of the sentence.
What is subject verb agreement?
When the author’s writing leans in a certain direction, either in favor of or against a particular subject.
What is bias?
When the author responds directly to the counterclaim.The author provides reasons why the counterclaim is not as strong as the claim.
