What are Organic Shapes?

This is a design consisting of orderly, predictable repetition.
What is Pattern?
For this assignment, students demonstrated line, shape and color. Art 1 students had to use crayons as their color medium, while Art 3 & 4 students used soft pastels.
What is a Line Drawing?
A color scheme that’s made up of only one color’s tints, shades and tones.
What is a Monochromatic color scheme?
This term defines how the elements and principles of design are combined within a composition.

Sets up a feeling of rhythm by repeating the same shapes, texture, color, stroke, etc. but is not necessarily orderly.

This worksheet taught students how to shade by using hatching, cross hatching, random marks, stippling, & blending.
