Mr. Soto hit himself in the head yesterday and forgot how some of the rules that apply to the material we've been learning. Two of the things that he forgot are how to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. Can someone remind him how it's done?
Fractions to decimals - divide the denominator by the numerator
Decimals to fractions - figure out what place value the last number of the decimal is in. That would be your denominator. The numerator is the original number without the decimal.
Decimal form of 7/20

Julie has -3.2 and gains 5.7. How much does she have now?

-3 1/6
(-2.5) × 4
-10
Oh no! Mr. Soto forgot how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. Can someone remind him what to do?
Adding and subtracting fractions - make sure the denominator is the same and then solve. Simplify if necessary.
Multiplying - multiply across or cross multiply if possible. Simplify answer if possible.
Dividing - Apply the 'Keep-Change-Flip" rule and solve. Simplify answer if possible.

Explain how you remember when to add and when to subtract integers.
When adding integers with the same sign, I add their values and keep the sign.
When the signs are different, I subtract the numbers and keep the sign of the larger number.
When subtracting problems with different signs, I use the Keep-Change-Change Method.

Oh no, Mr. Soto forgot how to solve division problems with fractions. Explain step-by-step how to solve them.
Step 1: Keep-Change-Flip Rule
Steps 2: Multiplying across or cross multiply if possible.
Step 3: Find answer (simplify if possible)
