Low SES can mean parents might not be able to afford nutritious food, which can impact the optimal functioning of their body systems (physical hwb). If a pregnant mother does not have a nutritional diet, then her baby is likely to be born underweight, which can affect the development of its lungs, leading to conditions such as asthma, which can impact physical hwb.
