I am Yoshi, and my family and I once lived in the Fukishima Prefecture of Japan. In 2011, our prefecture was evacuated after a tsunami caused a nuclear power plant to melt down. We were very angry with the government's response to the crisis and we all voted against our current representatives in the National Diet in the hopes they would remove Prime Minister Naoto Kan from office. While we distrusted many in government, we were comforted by Emperor Akihito's moving speech following the crisis, even though the emperor has little real political power.
