Why does it rain (explain the process of HOW it rains)?
The tiny droplets and ice crystals in clouds sometimes join together and become bigger drops. When these drops get heavy, they fall to the Earth’s surface. If it is not too hot or too cold, these drops (called precipitation) fall as rain.
