What is a dental practice act?
one single law or a group of laws that define the legal requirements for how dentistry can be practiced in the specific state it is written for.

After you finish working on the patient the dentist must come back and check your work

What does the Board of Dentistry have the power to do?
to issue a license but also to revoke, suspend, or deny the renewal of any license. If a dentist is convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor that includes drugs or alcohol, most states will take action. This also includes acting unethically, incompetence, or mental/physical disability that could cause the patient to become injured.
