The 15th amendment gave African American men the right to vote. Literacy tests were made and poll taxes were created to keep African American men from voting. The 24th amendment bans poll taxes.

The Libertarian party focuses on individual rights and little to no government involvement. They support gun rights (no restrictions on guns), LGBTQIA (gay marriage and surgery), and individual education (school choice).
