facts, statistics, numerical data, quotations, specific examples, or expert opinions
What is a negative connotation?
When a word has a connotative meaning that has a negative tone or feeling with it in the context.
What are techniques that are unique to the medium of text?
word choice, structure, text elements (italics, bold words, headers, etc)
What is Reasoning?
statements, questions, and appeals that explain why a reader should consider the evidence that is presented and accept the claim
