False - American Sign Language is a 3D language that follows the French Word Order due to our roots in Paris, France as the 1st Deaf teacher in the United States was Deaf. They were willing to teach us (Americans) how to teach Deaf individuals so we could bring it back to the United States. 

The English school for the Deaf in England would not share their teaching training with us.
