Why were Clovis tips important? How did they serve as evidence for the Beringian Land Bridge Theory?  

At their point of creation, they were considered to be one of the most innovative and resourceful tools for hunting. 

Scientists found them buried in the ground along the route of the theory. They also located a mastodon with one in its ribs that could date to the period of the theory.

What was the controversy with the Kennewick man? 

Scientists claimed that the remains located were too valuable to science and history to be reburied under Native American repatriation. They claimed that there was no grounds to prove a genetic connection to tribes. Burden of proof was relieved upon genetic testing that proved his remains were in fact Native American.

Bartolomeu Dias went first. He only made it to the southern tip of Africa. (Unsuccessful)

Vasco da Gama learned from Dias's mistakes. He successfully rounded Africa to complete the venture.
