This was the first time I understood the phrase you grow through what you go through. I have never struggled mentally and physically until my shoulder injury. Everything I did surrounded cheerleading. So, when the doctor said my injury was career-ending, I panicked. This became the biggest obstacle in my life. It became something i couldn’t control.
