No. Client cannot have a KORE Stipend if they have Medicaid #MedicaidFraud
KORE Stipend is only for clients with MEDICARE with no secondary payor, TRICARE, awaiting Medicaid Approval, or needing Deductible Assistance.

Yes, even though we do not currently have Methadone assisted treatment, it must be an option provided by our company.

RURAL Voucher: Once a YEAR (365 days from last UNITE funding)
KORE: IF client has exit GPRA from previous stay, they will qualify again if relapse/reentry
Cannot combine any of the programs within a calendar year (365 days from last funding)

KORE: Billed MONTHLY on the 8th. Does NOT require anything of the centers.
Can UNITE Voucher be used in Phase 1 if client has Medicaid or Commercial Insurance?
No. This would be considered Medicaid/Insurance Fraud at RTC LOC.
How does commercial insurance relate to KORE Stipend in Phase 1?
If client has a deductible $1,000 or greater, they can apply for KORE Stipend to cover ALL deductible costs.

Is the Room and Board Stipend the same as KORE Stipend?
No. Room and Board is strictly for Phase 2 and Phase 3 for Medicaid recipients.
KORE is for Medicare, Tricare, Deductible Assistance, and those awaiting Medicaid Approval.

Signing up for UNITE is evidence of high commitment to treatment. However, due to that commitment, clients cannot go on overnight passes. Therefore, it is best to utilize all UNITE funding PRIOR entering internship.
