A place on campus that provides students with food, hygiene products, and household items. Students can volunteer at the East Campus location.

An opportunity for Honors students to share their passion with youth, while receiving Honors hours and a wage.
What are Honors Afterschool Clubs?
An ice cream shop crafting unique, homemade ice cream in Lincoln since 2017.
What is 402 Creamery?
One of the largest clubs on campus that hosts engaging events on recruit, educate, and inspire students to join their movement and fundraise to provide essential resources for Children’s Nebraska in Omaha.
What is Dance Marathon?
The Nebraska State museum, Archie's home.
What is Morrill Hall?
Lincoln's only no-kill shelter and adoption facility for cats in the Lincoln area.
What is The Cat House?
A group of student leaders that help develop the Honors Program and serves students through community-building social events.
What is the Honors Program Student Advisory Board?
A Saturday morning staple in the Lincoln community. It runs from May 3, 2025 - October 11, 2025 from 8:00-12:00.
What is the Haymarket Farmers' Market?
A student organization providing diverse, educational, and entertaining programs to enhance the UNL community.
What is University Program Council (UPC)?
A Nebraska team that holds 5 national championship titles and has sold out every home match since 2001.
What is Husker Volleyball?
This organization was founded in 1991 by Coach Tom Osborne and his wife Nancy, who believed that positive relationships could change lives. It started with 22 Husker football players mentoring middle school students in Lincoln, and has grown into a powerful movement.
What is TeamMates?
A group that represents the Honors Program to external groups, including prospective students, community partners, and more.
What is the Honors Ambassadors?
An iconic coffee shop with multiple locations around Lincoln, most open late for evening studying sessions.
What is The Mill?
The official student government for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. They serve as an agency through which the relationship between the administration, faculty, and students, and between the general public and students, may be maintained.
What is Association of Students of the University of Nebraska (ASUN)?
A place that holds a collection of American art ranging from 19th-century landscape and still life, American impressionism, early modernism, geometric abstraction, abstract expressionism, pop, minimalism and contemporary art.
What is the Sheldon Museum of Art?
A skate park, coffee shop, and a place for community and mentoring for children and young adults in the community. Volunteering opportunities include cleaning the coffee shop, helping with food distribution on Saturdays, mentoring, and participating in Skate for Change which uses skateboards to distribute supplies to homeless people in the downtown area.

A program to develop skills through volunteer opportunities with health-based community partners, health and wellbeing trainings, and professional school application workshops.

The only Nebraska garden to be listed in the “300 Best Gardens to Visit in the United States and Canada” by National Geographic’s "Guide to Public Gardens."
What is The Sunken Gardens?
A crafting club for any and all lovers of craft! The are open to any skill level and are eager to help you learn a new craft, whether it be knitting, crocheting, needlework, scrapbooking, sewing, or anything else of interest.
What is Mind and Craft?
A multi-venue performing arts facility on the campus of the UNL. Opened in 1990, the main stage has a seating capacity of 2,258 and is primarily used for orchestra, theatre, and speaking events.
What is the Lied Center for Performing Arts?
An organization designed to support, shelter, and advocate for victims of domestic violence and their children. Opportunities include volunteering as a Children’s Advocate spending Monday and Tuesday evenings with children while parents attend group meetings. A Children’s Match volunteer spends time with one child taking them on outings such as to museums or bowling. There are also opportunities to help clean the building, decorate units for new families moving in, and organizing donations.
