What kind of clothes should you pack for NC weather?
A little of everything! NC gets cold in winter and hot in the summer.
A several thin layers tends to work best, as it can be cold in the morning and evening and hot during the day.
you will want at least one heavy jacket, a lighter jacket, and breathable clothes for the summer.

Official Copy of Transcripts 10th-12th. MUST HAVE GRADE 12 AND INCLUDE GRADUATION CERTIFICATE. Must be inside an envelope with a red seal from their high schools.
Under 18 Form If the student will be under 18 when they come to NCSU, they need their parents to print, sign this form.
Immunization Form filled out completely with doctor’s signature, clinic’s address & stamp.

Is smoking allowed in the USA?
The United States has become very unfriendly to smoking and smokers due to the many health risks it causes.
Smoking is illegal in ALL public and most private buildings in the United States!

Is it okay to download programs, movies, etc. without paying?
DO NOT PIRATE SOFTWARE, especially if you are using NCSU’s Wi-Fi, they monitor that network for piracy.

What is the legal drinking age?
21
If the police find you with ANY trace of alcohol in your system and you are younger than 21, you will get a ticket for underage drinking and need to go to court. This could jeopardize your VISA, especially if it happens twice.
年满21岁才能合法饮酒。未到法定年龄饮酒被视为一项轻罪，警察发现后会进行处罚；如果北卡州立大学的校警发现校园内有未到法定年龄饮酒的情况，会把违反者报告给学校的学生行为办公室。这些都可能对学生签证产生不利影响！
