What is physical abuse?
mild traumatic brain injury that affects brain function. Effects are often short term and can include headaches and trouble with concentration, memory, balance, mood and sleep

What is mutilation?
Someone who intervenes in a situation that they are not directly involved in
What is an upstander?
Treating someone/multiple people worse because of an essential characteristic they have
What is discrimination?
Violent disturbance to public peace, usually involving destruction of property
What is a riot?
Humiliating, controlling, isolating, or embarrassing a victim

Inability to control or feel certain parts of the body

Discrimination against a person based on their gender
What is sexism?
An incident in which 4+ people are shot in a single episode
What is a mass shooting?
Manipulating someone into unwanted sexual behavior
What is sexual abuse?
Cuts, tears or rips on or inside your body
What are lacerations?
A shelter, usually run by a city government or private organization, that provides refuge for people (predominantly women) fleeing abusive situations

Practical conflict transformation focused upon establishing equal power relationships that can stop future conflict
What is peacemaking?
Controlling someone's money and ability to work, making them poorer/worse with money to weaken them
What is financial abuse?
A severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. It can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure to something you're allergic to, such as peanuts or bee stings.
What is anaphylactic shock?
A major medical operation to fix defects that someone may have as a result of birth, disease, or injury.
What is reconstructive surgery?
Being hostile or harmful to organized society
