What is confidentiality/confidential space?
A space where no one else can see or hear what is being shared in group, and you not telling others what was shared in group.
We treat shared information respectfully, it does not leave the group space
When should you ask for a check in?
When you are feeling triggered or overwhelmed in group, when you have any safety urges or risks, when you need to leave early, when you need additional support
Check ins are not sessions, they are to help you use your coping tools to help you return to group

Emotion word, Mood thermometer rating, Safety concerns, risks, or urges, motivation rating, contributing factors (ADLs), previous commitment to wellness

Listening, taking turns talking, using trigger warnings, using kind language, raising hand to ask/answer questions, not being on your phone, and more!

Why are trigger warnings important?
We don't know what others are going through, and don't know what others triggers are
Rule of thumb: if others can imagine what you are describing, it's too much details to share in group
