How can the Data Quality Alert and the PAT Compliance tabs help you stay on track?

The data quality alert lets you know the missing items in great detail, and the PAT compliance lets you see a summary of the family........

  • Purpose: Data quality alerts act as flags, drawing attention to missing data for families and children within the program.
  • Details provided: These alerts are designed to be quite detailed, notifying you of various missing information, such as:
    • Enrollment data
    • Update entries
    • Assessments
    • Screenings
  • Timeframe: The alerts are based on a start date chosen by the user and continue up to the current date.
  • Focus: They specifically highlight data needed for the current program year that has not yet been entered.

Why is documentation important?

Documentation is important because it helps parent educators to be more effective, organized, and responsive to families.

Documentation is a program requirement and part of PE's roles and responsibilities to complete. 

Documentation is imperative to secure/maintain funding.

What kind of Goals should be created with families and when should they be created?

A Goal placeholder that we input at Intake, and 1 goal. (per child is not needed as it can be for the whole family or specific family members).

At the home visit #5, you support the parent in creating a SMART goal.

Forget info, affects data, and is an incomplete visit, late, missing, and is a program requirement.

A family states that they are about to go out of the country for 2 months. What should be done?

Staff with your Supervisor to create a plan.

Ex) Keep in touch with them during that time if they agree. If so, you can do virtual visits. Send material by email and do check-ins. 

Ex) Place family on Hold and agree on a time to resume communication.
