What is a horizontal line?

Shapes that are natural and have less defined edges. They usually occur in nature and never look the same.

What are warm colors?
diagonal lines that connect. When connected they give the feeling of excitement.

two-dimensional shapes that have clear edges when you create them and are flat

a board that provides a flat surface for artists to mix paints.
What is a palette?
colors that are opposite from one another on the color wheel
What are complementary colors?
a line made by wrapping around itself.
What is a spiral?
colors that are in-between primary and secondary colors on the color wheel
What are Tertiary (intermediate) colors?
an element of art describing how something physically feels or looks like it feels.
What is texture?
a self supporting frame that holds an artist's work while it is being either painted or drawn
What is an easel?
Any 3 colors that are next to each other on the 12 part color wheel.
What are analogous colors?
curved lines put together
What is a wavy line?
Colors arranged in a circle to show color relationships
What is the Color Wheel?

What is negative space?
a pencil or stick of colored wax used for drawing
What is a crayon ?
a color scheme based on only one, single color using tints and shades of it.
What is a monochromatic color scheme?
the width or appearance of any line, such as thick or thin, smooth or rough, continuous or broken.
