What are geometric, rectilinear, curvilinear, and organic?

A non-linear (non-mathematical) means to illustrate depth and a visual phenomenon where the density of the atmosphere progressively increases through space, creating a “haze”
What is atmospheric perspective?
The most typical type of shot distance that usually involves some activity with the upper body of a figure
What is medium shot distance?
This color scheme only contains different levels of brightness.
What is achromatic? (Or grayscale, black + white, hueless)
Type of visual balance that has both a vertical axis and horizontal axis of reflection

The gradual increase or decrease of a visual quality
What is gradient?
The type of lighting where everything looks bright with little to no shadow at all. It has little dramatic effect, encompassing an even lighting pattern and avoiding dark areas in the frame.
What is high-key lighting?
The angle that make us, the viewer, see through the eyes of figures- instead of at them
What is point of view angle?
When the distinction between figure and ground is unclear
What is figure/ground ambiguity?
The color effect that is caused by the tendency of a color to take on qualities of an adjacent color
What is the spreading effect?
This depth cue reveals depth by comparing two similar (not necessarily identical) shapes
What is relative size?
The sound whose source is visible on the screen or whose source is implied to be present by the action in the film
What is diegetic sound?

What is Dutch tilt angle?
The phenomenon where objects moving through our field of vision that are closer move further/more quickly across our visual field than objects that are farther away.
