The technique of disrupting the order of events by shifting to an earlier time in order to indroduce information.

Their was a ton of blank in the story when we didn't know if the guy was gonna make it from his injurys.

The use of details from the five senses to appeal to the reader.
Sensory langauge.
This would be an example of an Allusion.
At most football games the student section usually has a blank.

A type of class of literature.
Genre
The general place, historical time, and social cirumstances in which action occurs in a story or play.
The Setting.
When I asked my mom if we could get McDonald's I made a blank, that she was going to say "we have food at home" once I looked at her face.
An Inference.
Students blank is most likely greater today, than what it was on Monday.
Their mood.
The emotions expressed by an author or artist in the rhetoric, structure, and or perspective of his or her work.
Mood.
An abstract concept broad enough to cover the entire scope of a literary work.
Theme.
I walked through my neighborhood and smelled the fresh grass being cut. I also seen a bright red Cardinal flying through the bright blue sky.
This would be an example of sensory language.
I love all blanks of movies but I really enjoy Humor movies.

A conclusion logically drawn from presented information.
A lack of certainty on the part of a concered reader, about what is going to happen to characters with whom the reader has established a bond.
Suspense
The football field on Saturday will be the main blank of most peoples day.
