Natural Numbers

Domain
The data point that occurs the most
Mode
A number without a variable
Constant
The basic, non-negative counting numbers that do not include any fractions or decimals (including zero)
Whole Numbers
A point on a graph described by a pair (x,y)
Coordinate point
A relationship where each input has exactly one output (AKA x does not repeat)
Function
The middle data point when data is written in numerical order
Median
The number being multiplied by a variable
Coefficient
Numbers that can be written as a fraction (includes decimals that repeat and terminate)
Rational Numbers
The steepness of a line
Slope (average rate of change)
The set of all y values
Range
To calculate this, you add all the data points together and divide by how many data points there are.
Mean
When you multiple a number outside of parentheses to all terms inside
Distributive Property
Another word for multiply
Product
y-intercept
A function that creates a straight line
Linear Function
This represents the spread of a dataset and is calculated by subtracting the lowest value from the highest value
Range
The individual parts of an expression separated by addition (+) or subtraction (-\) signs
Term
Any real number that cannot be expressed as a simple fraction (Non-repeating, non-terminating decimals)
Irrational Numbers
The type of equation we use when writing linear functions
