Visualization
This is a vocabulary strategy which is done by creating a visual representation of the word. You can visualize it in your head and then transfer it into paper.
Agony

This is a vocabulary strategy which you can think of other words that you associate with the target word. Or, words that remind you of the target word.

A vocabulary strategy in which you think of the OPPOSITE of the target word.

A person who makes their own decision and is not controlled by others.
Glum
An emotion that describes feeling very gloomy and sad.
Synonyms
A vocabulary strategy in which you think of DIFFERENT words with the SAME meaning.
Trustworthy
A person who is dependable and reliable.

This is a vocabulary strategy which allows you to think about a time in your life where the target word was used/felt.

An emotion that describes a powerful feeling of anger.

A person who is overly proud of himself or herself.
