What is a Task Number?

What is a Purchase Order Number or PO?

What are Move Orders?
When materials are ready for pickup by a DC stakeholder, they are assigned this status.
What is Customer Pickup or Black Cone?
Received materials awaiting movement to a storage location fall under this status.
What is Ready for Storage or White Cone?
The color tape for inbound receiving & ready-for-storage materials
What is blue tape?
The color tape used for Operational Clearance Area or multi-purpose work spaces
What is the white and black striped tape?
The process is completed by the 15th of each month.
What is Cycle Count Execution?
This status refers to all inbound materials that require logical receiving and/or physical unpacking.
What is Inbound WIP or Blue Cone?
Process of returning defective parts under warranty back to the vendor for replacement units.
What is RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
Safety vest, steel toed shoes, safety gloves, ESD Straps and safety glasses are all required.
What is Personal Protective Equipment or PPE?
A task that is filed when there are damaged shipments, lost shipments

What are C locations
Unclaimed Move Orders
These locations are counted every three months, or quarterly
What are type B locations?
The action of taking logical custody of a specific move order in preparation to perform the move order transaction.
What is Claim move order?
Compliant receiving process that serves as a record of what was actually received until the exception is resolved.
What is a Memo-to-file or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act?
This is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, AND there ARE spares on-hand.
What is 3-Part RMA
Materials isolated due to quality, safety, or compliance reasons, such as damaged materials or failed logical transactions, are placed in this status.
What is Quarantine?
A purchase order (PO) or shipment request (SHREQ) that has been received at a facility, but contains errors such as quantity discrepancies or wrong serial numbers
What is an Exception?
This is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, AND there ARE NO spares on-hand.
