0 years in one language

Although you are not required to take a language to earn your Willowbrook diploma, we recommend that you take at least 2 years of one language if you are planning on attending a 4 year college or university (some colleges may require more than 2 years). You can take Spanish, French or German. If you excel in this subject, you have a chance to be a part of World Language Honors Society.

Clothes, Textbooks, School Supplies, Hair Ties, Activity Fee Cards, Formal Ties This store has everything. From your textbook to hair ties, almost every student will go here at least once. If you have a fee for an activity, you will go here and pay that fee. (This does NOT include library fees at the end of the year.)

Blue Crew puts together spirit days for Homecoming and Brook Olympics and rallies people together to show off your warrior pride.

The Academic Resource Center is located by the library. They are open before and after school with staff who can assist you in multiple subjects.

Homecoming/Prom Forms, Lost and Found and if you get in trouble, to get forms signed, Deans runner.

Though you don't want to go to the Dean's Office often, it is still important to know that you have to go there to get your dance forms and if you lose anything during the school year.

National Honors Society

You must fill out an application your sophomore year. Once inducted, you must volunteer at least 50 hours throughout the school year including bell ringing in the winter.

Meetings are held in room A318 once a week on Thursdays after school.

The English office is to the right of the main staircase. You can walk in and ask for Mrs. Anderson who can proofread and help you revise papers.

If a teacher gives you a Friday shout out (starts this Friday), where do you think you would go to collect your prize?

The Main office

At the end of the week, Mr. Epple will give out Warrior Code Shoutouts. If someone sees you living the Warrior Code, you may get a shoutout over the morning announcements. From there, you will have to go to the main office in order to claim the prize.

You are recommended based on academic performance your sophomore year and you must also fill out an application.

Key Club

You can join this club at the start of the school year. You help out with the community within the school and outside the school.

Who is the athletic trainer, and what does he do? (name at least one thing he does)

Mr. Brandon Marsh: helps any injured athletes/ any other injuries that occur on school grounds. He provides water for teams and will always be around when there is a home game/meet/match.

His office is located in the basement by the weight room and the sports locker rooms. If you are feeling physically hurt in any way, be sure to stop down at his office.

Any courses that fall under business, industry/technology, family consumer and Fine Arts such as Art, music and foreign language.

You must pass 3 electives in order to graduate. These go along with your regular requirements so make sure to plan ahead. These classes can also help you choose a career path.

Centurion spends all year interviewing students and taking pictures at assemblies, sports and other events.

Ed Sullivan: Organizes and oversees all sporting events at Willowbrook.

Sullivan's office is located in the athletic office which is on the right when you walk through door 6.

Which class is weighted more: Honors or AP Classes?

Neither, they are both weighted the same. i.

Our GPA scale is on a 4 point grading scale but Honors and AP Classes are both worth an additional point towards your GPA (that's how students earn over a 4.0 grade point average). You can find your GPA on the bottom of your Powerschool page.

How many "Gyms" does Willowbrook have?

4, Field House, Main, Aux and Wrestling Gym i.

The Wrestling Gym is not well known to most students. Most students who go up to that gym are involved in wrestling.
