This department at Mudd cares for the buildings and grounds. They handle keys, dorm furniture, custodial services, repairs, and other things.

The place where you can access communal cleaning supplies, washers, and dryers
What is the laundry room?
These two groups make up the DrinkwarD ResLife team. They plan the most fun and awesome events. Contact them if you have roommate issues, are feeling down, or have questions about life at Mudd.
Who are the Mentors and Proctors?
An event where you can learn more about HMC student organizations and occurs on Friday, September 4th in front of the Hoch.
What is the Club Fair?
I should text/call these people if I get locked out of my room from the hours of 9am to 9pm.
Who are Proctor Yuki and Proctor Alice?
Smile, greet them, stay out of their way, thank them for taking care of the dorm
What should you do when you see a dorm attendant?
This shelf in the kitchen is often used to give away leftover food from ResLife or president events. (show us!)
What is the free food shelf? (over there)
This group of people is in charge of organizing dorm meetings, parties, Dorm Auction, and attending ASHMC meetings. They also assign frosh roles (stay tuned!)
Who are the dorm presidents?
A program that Atwood creates teams for and allows students to play various sports/games against students from CMC, Mudd, and Scripps. The first sport of the year is inner tube water polo.
What are intramural sports?
If I have a problem with my roommate/suitemate or living situation in general, I should reach out to this person.
Who is my proctor or mentor?
You can place one of these if you want your bed lofted, furniture moved, something fixed, or a spill cleaned up.
What is a work order?
You can use these two forms of payment for laundry
What are Claremont Cash and quarters?
The names of this year's DrinkwarD mentor team.

What are events at other dorms?
One situation in which you might call proctor-on-call, and one situation in which you should contact Proctor Alice or Proctor Yuki instead.
Keep people away from the scene, send an email to the affected dorm/area, clean up large shards to the best of your ability, and submit a work order
What is the broken glass protocol?
Any food left in the communal fridges should be labeled with these two pieces of information.
What are your name and the date?
This ends on Saturday, September 5th at 6pm. During this time, no substances can be consumed on campus. This applies to all HMC students and includes alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs.
What is Dry Week?
This space on campus is good for late-night eats and hangouts. You can place a mobile order too! It is located in the Platt Basement.
What is Jay's Place?
The wellbeing dean who lives in DrinkwarD dorm.
Who is Dean Michelle?
The DrinkwarD dorm attendants.
Who are Gracie and Alex?
The moderated DrinkwarD dorm Google Group that Deans and other HMC staff can see, which you were added to automatically, and the unmoderated DrinkwarD dorm Google Group, which contains sillier/spam content and which you can join if you like.
What are drinkward-dorm@g.hmc.edu and drinkward-chat-l@g.hmc.edu?
These two student-run spaces provide students access to a variety of tools, machines, and materials. They support work on both academic assignments and personal projects. They are located across from each other in the McGregor basement.
What are the Makerspace and Machine Shop?
A document that establishes roommate expectations and should be emailed to Proctor Yuki and Proctor Alice by Sunday night.
